Hosting and server logs
This website presents my professional profile. When you visit, the web server processes your IP address, request time, requested URL, HTTP method, status code, amount of data transferred and, where supplied, referrer and browser information. This supports reliable delivery, troubleshooting and prevention of abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is operating a reliable and secure website.
The hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The nginx logs are rotated daily, retaining up to 14 rotated daily files. Under normal operation, access entries are therefore deleted within 15 days. See Hetzner’s privacy notice.
No analytics or external embeds
This profile website uses no cookies, tracking, analytics or browser storage such as local storage or IndexedDB. Fonts come from your device; styles and icons are served from this server. There is no contact form, login or service worker. The language switch uses ordinary page links; your language choice is not stored as a personal profile. The project carousel uses locally served JavaScript. The selected project is kept only in the open page’s memory and is not stored or transmitted. Standard browser caching may apply.
Email contact
If you email me, I process your sender address, message and any details you provide to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about working together, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other correspondence, based on my legitimate interest in responding. Data is deleted when it is no longer needed, subject to statutory retention obligations. The email link opens your own email application; clicking it alone does not send a message.
External links
Links lead to LinkedIn, GitHub, amc.NG and TourEd, among others. A connection to these providers is only established when you follow a link. Their own privacy notices then apply. Features such as login and maps on TourEd are not part of this profile website.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Please use the email address above. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the Thuringian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
